This is a fan-made short machinima film based in the Eve Online game universe. It’s based on the Eve Chronicle ‘The Breakout’ and tells the story of Admiral Yakiya Tovil-Toba. With nothing more than a Chimera and a few dozen attack craft, Tovil-Toba attempted to save millions of lives on Caldari Prime while it was under attack by Gallente forces some 200 years ago. The actions of the Admiral gave the Caldari enough time to finish the evacuation of citizens trapped by the Gallente assault.

It uses a mixture of recorded footage from a lite version of the developers’ own machinima software, and composite footage created in After Effects.

This film covers a bit from the Caldari-Gallente war. It's set 200 years ago, before any of the 4 races had pod technology. I tried to use ships that may have been around back then, though sadly there's not a huge amount of information that I could find.
