With this image wanted to express how "real" can be SL, like the feeling of the light of the sun in your face.

Made myself the pose, edited Sky Settings to make the sky as white as possible, then moved the sun and changed the sunlight colours to look natural.

With Photoshop created a layer of the hand to project a shadow on the face and drown the lines in the hand. Some use of Liquify was required too. After that edited contrast and bright, manually and using one filter (Mr. Contrast).

Oh, thanks, Silvia! Actually took a bit of time, to adjust windlight settings and the Photoshop edition, but was fun to do it!
What i'm liking more in this contest is they ask to share your techniques, what i think will be useful for all of us, we will learn and enjoy a lot. :D

Wow, thanks, Prad!!! The hand was the worse part to edit, you know how are hands in SL, not detailed, so i used a "tree" brush of PS, the blurred it and made it quite transparent, after that had to use that "copy brush" of PS (not sure what's the name in english, i use Photoshop in Spanish, hehehe) to add shadow to some parts of the hand.

I was not sure if I was going to pick this one. I know your work, Raul, and I _know_ you are good. Hence I was a bit disappointed by the lack of background / scenery. But then I looked again. And again. At the shadow the hand casts. And your face, that has the idea that you are waiting for something. And then I read the text... and then I decided 'yes, this definitely is a pick'. It has emotion and is perfectly PIRL. Definitely worth to be one of my picks, although works like the one you did in the diner (with all the blood, skyrocketing views in your stream) would have suited excellent too. Or the one you did with the mirror. Anyway, as usual, great work. I think, because I know you are fabulous at doing this, I put the 'requirements' for you a bit higher. *Grins*

You are right about the background, maybe i wanted to make it so simple that is too simple because i wanted to concentrate the emotion in the expression, in the hand, in the shadow. And, well, good you put "requirements" a bit higher for me. ;-)
