wow this is fantastic place. As far as ideas to make this better - the entire image seems dark..perhaps play with levels to get blacker blacks and whiter whites...spark up the image. Monroe.

yes I can say Monroe is right, however rather than just change the contrast perhaps a blending of the background to make it truly black toward the bottom might give the desired effect. Also the framing is much improved thanks to donhosho's suggestion:) what would be interesting to see is if you crop the sides and try to make the whole picture match exactly what is seen on the wall, then I think it would be perfect. Finally some very slight blurring would help to take the jagged edges off as they are somewhat distracting but overall this is a great picture:)

thanks mentors, you're right!I'll try again... ;)increasing contrasts and then, get an even better and most similar angle!
ok - well I am off to see the place for myself now - will be back with a version and comments ;)

can't wait to see it, dear BBeau!
ty Pier - tis done and ready for attack ;) As for my comments on yours - I think as said you need to work with smoothing those horrid pixels that we all hate *giggles and just play with the lighting on the picture - I like the darkness that you have, but it would be enhanced with a bit more focus on the light work :) Overall it's a great shot though Pier, well done :)
thank you dear!
Yes this one is working better than the first, the space above gives the composition weight at the bottom where it needs it. I would also consider cropping on the left as well (about the middle of the cloth-covered box) and adding a bit of light and texture in the upper right. But in addition you might think about keeping the composition square which would mean cropping down at the top and maybe moving the Marat painting down a touch so it's not too high in the frame. You might also consider touching up the arm that hangs down from the tub so the sheet doesn't intersect it and opening up the light on the hand so it's not so lost.
