It feels almost like an impressionist painting. Pixels vs. Pointalism? Kinda like both.

*smile*

aahh hahaha so you want a review of this do you? *grins. I really like it alot actually. The trees detail has come out well and not at all primmy...and the colours are great.

If you wanted to give more atmosphere you could have used windlight and played with the haze, gamma and density settings in the advanced sky menu. By doing this the light coming through the trees changes and you get a more misty appearance. I say play because only by doing this can you see how you like the effects. Also by changing the atmospheric colours you can alter the mood of the picture. Hope this helps.xx

The shot is good - you could give it more depth by blurring the back trees, you have to try and see how much looks good :-)

yes, its one of my fav photos by myself.....but I know that a real artists would have done a better job.......

thank you Trixi.....I agree with you....I agree with on that: with windlight you have to play......because you can't be sure, until you see the result

thank you carlotta, your opinion means a lot for me!

Hey there - another thought would be to crop out alittle of the big bush on the left - it draws eye away from the path...just cut out 1/3 of it and the total image would pull you down the path... Very nice shot..I've done this one as well! LOVE this place. outstanding work Pier

what makes this one so amazing in my opinion is the way the ground is slightly uneven and everything is at an angle, a very dramatic effect which I can say is typically seen in films, for example in a tense or nightmarish scene, or a dream or vision:)

thanks Rhondita, your description has been enlighting....

I watched many time at this photo..but only now, I can see what make it different and really effective....

btw, right now...I'm not sure if it is my framing or the whole sim is uneven and oblique....

I'll come back in Tempura and try to understand....
