*sights the pic again while holding a light close to it*....no..*light off*...the only thing i would try is to play a bit with colour saturation and contrast... but i my eye the pic works as it is

I like this alot and I love the darkness because you have a great touch in there thats the bright red lips and top. So what your eye sees is the smudge of red which brings passion and the barrel of the gun, the focal. The only thing I might have done and this is a big might is to sharpen up the gun even more. I agree with Nath, it works.
