I'm a newcomer to making Machinima movies, starting roughly a year ago with no idea that other people were making movies as well. I only found out there was a Machinima community in July of this year when I heard about the Machinima Festival Europe 07 competition. I entered a movie I'd made earlier in the year (The Hindenburg) and was very surprised to find it nominated for the best technical achievement award. Since then I've been highly motivated to start making more and better quality movies, though as always time is a problem.
