(Short Poem)

Medical Receptionist in the Park



Lounging an open field
trees mark paths before
her, the hospital looms

behind her. She faces
the open garden, takes
in the surrounds, relaxes
in the pleasant park.

Autumn rolls past, I stop
to chat to her, she speaks
smoothly, her position
modestly hiding back:
passion for the job
passion for the people.

But I see it in her strict
posture, wide kindness
of her eyes, simple beauty
shines through plain clothes;
the white bringing out palettes
in her skin. I imagine

whisking her away, taking
her in soft strong embrace
kissing her, feeling lips against
skin, touching softly,
slowly kissing neck top
to bottom. I want to take her from her desk

and love her in the strictest of passions.
Make her body harbour kisses,
feed her with the soft wet
of embrace, slowly undress
her and make love.
