Rules and Presentation of The Contest

Presentation:
The Second Life Murku Comics Contest is a funny competition that invite you to create a comics (a single frame or a strip) within Second Life, using the Murku HUD, created by Deep Semaphore

Rules:
Submit as many entries as you want

The Contest features two categories:
1) Cartoon: only one frame with grafical comics element
2) Comics Strips: small story created as a comics book

You can submit cartoon using a single picture.
You can submit the comics strips as the media storyboard
(see the examples of Deep Semaphore)

In order to be eligible for the contest your pics have to be entered in this group pool.
So, well join this group and then enter your comics strips.


Winners will be announced in the discussion board

Winners will be announced with a group notice and a new thread on 30th of april

Submission can entered from now to 26th of april
The Panel of judges is made by: Hamlet Au, Aimee Weber, Gwyneth Lewellyn, Tateru Nino, Talia Tokugawa

Prizes
There will be 2 winners. (es: One for category) and they will get a prize of 10.000 L$
Moreover there will be some other honorary mentions.

Both winners and special mentions will have the chance to show their creation in the upcoming Museum of Comics

#1 Is any postproduction allowed on the image panels?

1) yes, postproduction is allowed, but remember to use the murku HUD for making the strips

I have been using this HUD for some time now, and I can say that it's definitely become quite an addictive hobby.  :)   To have a contest going makes it all that more interesting. :)

Interesting that there were actually four winning entries.

I almost didn't post this, as I figured it would be seen as being a sore loser.
This is not the case.
I am merely pointing out the results against the original rules.
