I watched this amazing video by Raul Crimson, sharing some tips about making poses in Second Life I got curious about tools to make poses. What tools are you using to make poses and what is your favourite (most cheap, cool, etc.)? I'm interested in all the virtual worlds (and also for The Sims) I know there are some amazing posers in SL, IMVU and also The Sims.......that could share their opinions here

I've used Qavimator for poses. I've tried to figure out the free Daz Studio program for poses and animations, but it seems incredibly complex compared to Qavimator.

Speaking of DAZ Studio, the Second Life Update blog posted a brief tutorial for how to use it for animation purposes. It can be found at www.secondlifeupdate.com/the-ten-tips/make-custom-second-life-avatar-animations-in-daz-studio/ Pier, how did you turn "making poses in Second Life" into a link? Do you have to go into HTML mode to do that?
hey Ran, thanks for the link you can insert link or images, etc, by using the visual editor (you can see the icons, B I U S link etc inside each comment box)
I usually use Qavimator for single poses.

if someone has tutorial, tricks and link for making poses with Qavimator and other tools, he is invited to share them
Everyone that has been struggling with building things, must know of Natalia's weblog. She's incredible at explaining building, making clothes, making poses, making hair, making jewelry, making sculpties. You name it, she mentioned it. I always used it, if I wanted to learn something new. She also explains how you can get started with Qavimator: www.mermaiddiaries.com/2007/10/day-391-creating-poses-part-1-standing.html
