About Lyrical Picture

The group's premise is to collect pictures that tell stories, either durch their description or through the sheer narrative power of the images themselves. It's for people who like words and stories and are happiest when they are given both pictures and narration

It's a group for pictures that tell a story, or illustrate a poem, or being made with beautiful words haunting you at the back of your mind or send the viewer to another world. A lyrical picture visualizes a poem, or a story. The first such picture of mine was made with the words of Shelley's farewell echoing in my head. The picture enriches the experience of reading the poem and vice versa. Both the act of creating and watching / reading become much more satisfying through this coupling.
