The
Linden Endowment For the Arts is a program created by Linden Lab and the Second Life arts community. A series of regions are established for virtual artists to build long-term exhibits lasting several months. Plans approved by the Endowment receive the use of a sim free of charge for the duration of the exhibit.
Some incredible works have been mounted in the life of the LEA so far, and have proven to be major draws, attracting and inspiring avatars from around the Grid and the Real World. This group is established to showcase photos taken in any of the LEA regions during an exhibit.
All submissions are moderated. At the least, the photo should show a good view of the exhibit as a background, but preferably as a major (most preferably the primary) element of your photo. All works
must have a working SLurl to the region; this will be checked before approving the work for addition to the group. (If you don't have the exact coordinates, don't stress; simply use the appropriate region name and fake it with a default 128/128/0; for instance, "http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA25/128/128/0". As many exhibits use or used a set landing point for teleports, with internal jumping turned off, this is more for identification of where your photo was taken than anything.
