Virtual Japan, China and East Asia

Members, please spread the word about this (and other) groups!  Even if you don't have admin privileges, which allow you to use the magic widget that lets you leave a join/add offer on an image's comments, you can leave a suggestion by hand.  If you see something that fits a group and is good in your opinion, drop a comment and suggest they join that group and add it!  There's maybe 10-20 metric tons of talent posting great images here in Koinup, and I can't find it all by myself (grin); so let's see what we can do to build the collections!

Have you ever traveled through a far-Asian area (or posed against such a backdrop) and taken some snaps that you want to share?  Tried on a qi pao, or a kimono and full geisha wig?  Think you look good in a hakama and zori, with a katana in your belt?  Then this is the group to display your works.  Anything that has a Pacific-Rim theme to it in some way is eligible.  The countries I have in mind are Japan, China, Tibet, Korea, and any of the Indochina countries going as far west as, say, Burma and Thailand.  (Not India here; that's central Asia, and really goes into its own genre of architecture and clothing style.  I've started another group for India/Pakistan/Central Asia.)
