The Avatars Competition's goal is to bring the most amazing, glorious and breathtaking avatars posted by Koinup members into the 3D Wallpapers App. The 3D Wallpapers app is the forthcoming paid (only 1$) Koinup Wallpapers app available on the Nokia Ovi Store and downloadable on almost the Nokia phones. The winning works of the Avatars Contest will be featured in the mobile application and they will be downloadable to the end users of the 3D Wallpapers PRESENTATION You can create amazing avatars in virtual worlds (or with 3D softwares) This competition asks participants to snap the most amazing avatars and submit to the pool. The judges will pick the winners by considering the following criteria: 1. beauty and originality of the avatar 2. beauty and aestethics of the snapshot The judges will pick 5 winning photos. Other 5 winning photos will be the community winners (the top 5 coolest of the pool at the moment of the announcement). A total of 10 pictures will be therefore included in the "3D Wallpapers". The images included in the 3D wallpapers will be downloadable as mobile wallpapers to the users of the application. RULES 1. Participants of the contests can upload only 5 submissions 2. Only Screenshots/photos taken in virtual worlds, games or 3D softwares are eligible for the win and for being included in the app 3. The submissions will be judged by Simon Newstead, founder of Frenzoo and Luca Spoldi, owner of the Slnn.it magazine 4. The deadline for submission is friday 16th of march. 5. The announcement of the winners will take place on 20th of march 6. Images with portrait mode are preferred to others 7. 7. Submissions must be considered safe for all audience and teenagers (no nudity, no explicit, no violence) Note: By posting your pics to this group you grant permission to Koinup to include your images in the application!

You can edit the snapshots!
SL does not really allow for taking snapshots in portrait mode....so we will have to crop images before submitting if we are to follow the rules stated.....is this acceptable?

@MillaKat yes sure you can edit/crop the snapshots @Vero1324 nope, there's no any specific size. Just keep it in the portrait mode, to fit with the guidelines
