Well, how i proceeded for this picture :
I had the luck to use a photo of a very good quality in Second Life so i did'nt need to work on a lot with photoshop!
My aim was to get a realistic picture, then ...
With photoshop, after a little cleaning, i just worked on a complete desaturation and after on brightness and contrast.
Hope i am clear enough (french is my mother language)
