Orange Island is sponsoring an innovative competition for teams of photographers, clothing designers and models throughout the week of 25 August, 2008. Participants will have the chance to stretch their creative genius and demonstrate their originality and innovation as a new theme and environment will provide the focus for each day's shooting. An impartial panel of judges will determine the winners.

As well as the winners of each daily competition, an overall Grand Prix will be awarded as well as a "Most Consistent" award given to a team that has entered every day of the competition and has displayed consistent excellence.

COMPETITION GUIDELINES

• In order to take part in this contest, you must have an account on Koinup.
  Registration is free and takes only a few seconds.
• There will be 5 separate daily competitions during the week, each with a different theme and taking place on a specific sim that will be announced the day of the shooting. Though the themes will be announced ahead of time, the location of the sim (together with landmark) will only be revealed when we gather at Orange Island (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Orange Island/195/134/31) at 12:00 noon SLT each day. The location will also be announced on the Orange Island blog and the Prim Perfect blog.
• This competition is designed for collaborative teams of a photographer, designer and model. However, two or more of these roles may be filled by the same person.
• Participating teams will have until 6:00 am the following day to upload their entries. Finalists will be determined and displayed on Orange Island by 11:00 am that day, and the next location will be announced at noon.

  Date and time refers to Second Life Time.
• You may participate on any combination of days, or throughout the week. Only teams who submit entries for all of the daily competitions will be eligible for the "Most Consistent" award.
• Only ten entries per day will be permitted. In the case participants upload more than 10, only the first ten pictures will be considered.
• Failure to follow the contest rules, including featuring uncredited or mis-credited designs in the composition of the photograph, may lead to disqualification.
• Entries will be judged based on artistic and emotional impact, technical excellence, and how well they express the theme of the day.
• The work of each of the daily finalists will remain on display throughout the month of September on Orange Island as well as in an online gallery on Koinup. The September issue of Prim Perfect will display each photograph receiving a daily award and will feature an interview with the Grand Prix winner. The winners will also be featured in the Orange Island and Koinup Photo Sessions for September.
• Photos will remain on Koinup after the end of the contest.
• Entering the contest implies the acceptance of these rules.
