This is an alternate image for the Koinup "Windlight" contest, in the end, it felt a little too "alien" for the feel I wanted. But I liked it so much, I wanted to share it anyway.
Settings, Windlight preset "Sunset Desert" as a start. Gamma channel to bring the foreground into light, and settings to give the ground a lighter feel. I was going for that twilight feel, but it ended up looking like "Mars" instead. Tweaked the sun settings to put the moon where I did, brought up the star brightness, played with cloud cover and did some color filter settings in windlight.
A fun pic, but not what I wanted. But, I liked it so much, I wanted to share.
