"Moab twilight drop"
"Skuff, a bunny who loves 'xtreme' sports, rides a huge drop off the buttes of Moab at twilight"
For this contest, I went to some of my favorite places in Second Life and looked for spectacular builds to play around with. When I read the rules, and they asked us to not use the "same settings" on each pic, it made me want to tinker a little more. So I dove into the environment settings, and discovered a whole lot of fun toys to play with! what came out a few hours of tinkering was the two final images I'm posting.
This image started wit the windlight preset "Ghost". I really wanted to incorporate the moon into the shot (something I never see anyone else do), so I played with the east placement and settings until I could put it in the right location. I then brought the star brightness up, but only enough to give the twilight feel. I played with the ambient light setting to give the foreground some definition while still allowing the silhouette of the bunny to come through. And don't ask about tweaking the avatar.
I love action shots like this in RL, and I wanted to capture that feeling here as well. I should also mention that this is MY av, and I took my own mid-air pic. How? That's for you to find out.
