Sometimes I feel like our world is filled with negativity. However, I find happiness with my family and close friends. I try to ignore all the other stuff, but sometimes it seems like the negativity and hostility of others is almost impossible to escape. Sometimes I wish I could take my family and closest friends and live with them and only them on a small desserted island.

HATE!
RAGE!
HOSTILITY!
These are the emotions that rule our world.

GREED!
POWER!
SADISM!
These are the desires that drive people.

DEATH!
TURMOIL!
DESTRUCTION!
These are the results of the emotions and desires.

FEAR!
PARANOIA!
DISTRUST!
These are the feelings created in others.

There are few people left to trust.
There are few actions which are pure.
Through action and omission,
Most are out to harm.

Liars, cheats, killers, warmongers,
These are the heroes of the day.

Drug dealers, murderers and degenerates,
These are the celebrities of the day.

The villains, the bad guys, the evil doers,
All have excuses for their behavior.

The victims, the innocent, the pure of heart,
Will no longer get justice.

That is why I hate this toxic, toxic world.
