Just got to beta ? take those easy steps:
1) Your mount is on the spellbook now

2) Get quests to find new areas. SW = a board on trade quarter, near the old AH. Org = at the pic
|
|
3) Get flight license on Flight trainer:
Dalaran=Krasus landing
SW= Trade quarter
Org = take elevator here
|
|
3a) Buy Flight Master License (copy and premades) and Cold Weather (for premades)
|
|
4) Set your home in Org or SW - Your premade char gets free port, but his home is somewhere else and you want to have it on the main city of your faction
|
|
5) portals: City portals are gone from Dalaran.
Portals are now on org or SW and only to new areas. You need to get a quest to each area (see step 2) to see the portal for it.

6) Your talents are reset and premades come w/o talents set. Create a "first draft" talent tree
|
|
7) You will need to retrain talents and reset your talent bars
premade:no need for class trainer, need to set empty action bars.
Copy: See class trainer in dala,org or sw

8) Add Glyphs. There are new glyphs and old obsolete glyphs to change
Premade: Just go into screen and pick the ones you want.
Copy: Need to learn all new glyphs in dala inscription, shop, erase old ones with vanishing dust which can be bought at the dala ink vendor on the inscription shop

|
9) You are ready for your first Cataclysm quest.
Level 80 Copy= Mt Hyjal / Personal Summons.
Level 85 Premade = Maelstrom (Stonecore)

10) Instances:
Level 85 premade = Can do heroics and stonecore normal. Can do Grim Batol and others after "discovering" their entrances
Level 80 copy = you will be able to do Blackrock Caverns and Throne of Tides but you need to "discover" their entrances
Blackrock = Same place that Lower Blackrock Spire was on BC / WTLK, but turn right at entrance
Tides = Vashj'ir, go past entrance area to Abysal depths, enter the whirlwind thingy.
