Model: Ran Garrigus
Skin: Jonathan t3 (Clean Shave) by Adam n Eve
Pose: MADesigns Runway pose
Technique: Unlike most of the rest of my commercial work for Adam n Eve, this one has some significant post-processing.
Besides the typical clean up, I used the touch-up technique I've covered elsewhere to brighten the highlights on the skin, and then used the glistening skin technique described in my Xavier image.
On top of that, I took another crack at making beads of water on the skin, using a technique adapted from Planet Photoshop at http://www.planetphotoshop.com/beads-with-sweat-effect.html. It's a tricky thing to apply it to an avatar, and because it wasn't as successful as I wanted I made it quite transparent. Refine, refine, refine...
Then Virtual Photographer was used for it Ambience filter. Set that to a layer set to Soft Light, then to a layer of Multiply at 62%. I created a simple vignette using an inverted circle selection with a high feather.
Finally, I added a Channel Mixer adjustment layer and tweaked the colors until they suited me -- it's quite a powerful tool, actually, the channel mixer (and adjustment layers, since they allow you to do quite complex things in a non-damaging way).
