Chichén Itzá Mexico
The recreation of the ancient world of Chichén Itzá in Second Life. Part of the bid to become one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World". This was a 2 year long voting process from 200 candidate sites worldwide and was the largest vote in human history with over 100 million votes cast. Widely reported in the worlds media (e.g. National Geographic Magazine news.nationalgeographic.co.uk/news/2007/07...). This film was commissioned to raise public awareness of this extraordinary Mayan archeological site. The bid was successful and Chichen Itza is officially now one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World".
