Well, I recently got Poser, but I made this pose using QAvimator, which is a free software to make poses for SL avatars. I am not sure about being able to pose your avatar ANY way you want, but there seem to be limits. You move certain parts of the body using a scale. You can find out about the program here: http://www.qavimator.org/

Yes I've used this also. Takes a bit of fiddling with and I found on some of mine the avs natural ao (ie when all attatched ao's are turned off) kept making it go wobbly. It is a beta but still, its free and very useful.

The pose also goes wobbly when any of the parts rotation's X, Y, Z scales are at 0.  That was how I botched this one, because I forgot to move the ones that were at 0 to at least 1.   As a result, the pose kept twitching.

Oh, I didn't realize it was in beta!  Still, it is cool.   Yes, it is, very useful.

Miya tell me, does that mean I should set every single body part rotation to at least one, even the parts I am not moving at all? Or is it only the parts that have been moved? Thx ;-) Oh and btw how is Poser? Good to use?

View Trixibelle's home Trixibelle | 1 year(s) ago

Yes, every single body part's rotation needs to be at at least 1.   Even ones that you don't move at all.  They all need to be at at least 1 or the pose will twitch and move and things.  :)

I haven't learned how to use Poser yet, unfortunately.   I have it set up and all, but when I try to move a leg to rise it up off the ground, it just turns from side to side and twists itself.   I've been trying to find help with learning how to do this but it seems there isn't much help.   I'll learn eventually, I hope...  ^^;
