This quite controveral from other blogs; personally I absolutely hate it!

She's going to/is suffer/ing sufferring extreme health problems, pressure sores, fungal infections, mobility problems and eventually heart and lung sytemic collapse.

There ain't nothing beautiful about that.

You're right, AAngel. Odalisque is a provocative piece. The interesting thing is that what you describe to be her health problems are very much the same health problems that befall the excruciatingly thin that we see every day in the Modelling World. And oftentimes those who seem perfectly fine physically could be suffering from serious health problems mentally. For me the point isn't about putting up one extreme or the other as "good" or "bad", but to embrace the idea that there isn't One Mold.
