Hi,
I moderate a group called Boats Planes Trains & Automobiles in SL & OS, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Thank you so much to all of you! ^_^
LOL! ^_^ Yes, this is not a portrait of mine, even without beard! =)))))
Navigare necesse est! ^_^
Since aviators are born to fly and flying machines are expecially made to do the same, "cancelled flight" is a strong negation of natural inclinations yet it stresses out a real potential, too. Somehow it represents an unstable equilibrium but I'm quite confident such a state will soon evolve to a much more natural condition of flight.

yessss i agree with this view Look, the delay is only temporary..!
being grounded is a phase  in evolution,
and i ask myself: does the larvae in the cocoon recognize the butterfly?

Amazing treatments on this series, and this is definitely my favorite.

Thank you so much, Stariel! ^_^

@BlackMamba: well, this is a nice question... They're so different, do they recognize each other? While the butterfly should be conscious of having been something different in its past life, how could possibly the larva foresee or just dream of what it will become? Is there any genetic memory leading from the simple to the complex? And is such a memory rationally intelligible by the first stadium of life? As a human being I know I crossed several well-known phases to become what I'm now but I can't retrieve the whole memories of what I've been in the first months or years of my life... Since this recalling is so hard to me, I suppose it could be even more difficult for those who travelled into two or more life forms that are so clearly different both in shapes, consiousness, and existential aims... Yet, as any toddler dreams of becoming an adult and finally look alike their parents, maybe, into the warm and protective stasis and silence of its cocoon, while deeply involved in changing its own body and mind, a larva dreams and feels an irrational, growing need to... Fly.
