She arrives early hoping to catch the smallest glimpse of him

Sat waiting for the time they agreed trying not to let her mind race away from her imagining how perfect their renuion could be if he arrives

|
Dancing to forget past pain and look forward to their possible future
|
|
Waiting where they agreed if they were still alone all these years later, in the spot where they first met
|
|
Hours later and still no sign of him she wonders if maybe she is in the wrong place. She moves away to a hidden spot at the top of the stairs where she can watch everyone come and go praying for a glimpse of him

|
Having given up and accepting that he will not be coming she contemplates her life wondering how it came to this...

Waiting for a lost love knowing deep down that he won't turn up but hoping her heart is stronger and he will come and find here in the spot they agreed many years ago.
