This was created by adjusting the haze distances and density in Advanced sky. I also changed the colour of the fog a bit to give it the gold glow.

Thanks nelodra! Cool stuff. If you want to have even more fun with this shot, the actual island is located in the southwest corner of the Vehicle sim. I'm inviting people to go there and do their own shots.
