New Beginnings
Taken in studio with a black background; post-processed with photoshop.
Separated the background from the models. Started by adding sandstone texture to the background to give it some relief. Added the beam of lights on a new layer with the polygonal lasso tool to make the shape and filling it with a gradiant tool going from white to transparent.
Softened the models edges with the smudge tool.
Added a new layer, filling parts with black added gaussian blur filter and lowered the opacity to make shadows on the models and wall.
Added a black and white adjustment layer, then a light brown solid color layer which I blended by using soft light and diminishing opacity.
Finished it up by adding contrast and grain texture.
