Some of my friends know I live in Ghent (Belgium). Now, to BE standards it's a "big" city (about 250000 people).
But pretty much nobody knows I was actually born in a small village, pretty much "in the country".
Right behind our garden there was a field, in spring and summer it was filled with thousands of wild flowers: poppies, daisies, buttercups...
I do miss those "rivers of flowers" scattered around in the field sometimes, relaxing in the middle of them...
