I went on a picture-taking frenzy with this one. Luskwood Creatures was releasing a new avatar for the first time since last year (Luskwood Bunkies released several in that time), and this was an event I was looking forward to. Hyenas, I dunno why, but I like them a lot. And I didn't care if there was a contest or if I won a drawing or not (no contest), I didn't care if it wasn't packed with features (it had plenty), I was going to get one on release.

And apparently there were plenty of people who felt the same way. The place was packed that night, and there was actually a line inside waiting for the vendors holding the new hyena (wish I had snapshotted that). The hyenas actually were delayed about a half-hour due to some last-minute bug and the HUD was a beta release with free update available, but it was worth the L$900. And that's a nice price, considering the newest of LC's avatars were L$1200. And as it turns out, plenty of people got one.

I had to go to work that night, so I was limited on how many pictures I could take, and SL crashed at the last minute just as I was taking a picture of the hyena's creator. But you can tell just how big the event was that night. We even had one of those funny griefers come along and attempt to stir up trouble with "YIFF IN H***, FURF***S!" You'd think they'd notice the PG rating sitting by the sim's name.

By the way, I do not claim to be a professional photographer. There are several shots where some textures hadn't quite rezzed yet. As many people as there were, and so many different-colored hyenas appearing, textures weren't loading at the quickest rate, so I couldn't always wait for textures to rez.
