Nightswimming... deserves a quiet night...
Inspired by the song *Nightswimming* R.E.M
I wanted to show that calm, quiet floating atmosphere, with a touch of moonlight on the skin, a moment of closing your eyes in peaceful unity with nature and yourself.
I changed sky and sun position/angle to get a night setting, lights on the body and reflections. Changed the clouds and their color too. Then water, to get a calm surface and searched for an angle for the shot ( the hardest part for me ).
Postprocessing ( Photoshop CS3 Ex ) to smooth out some edges with blur and the liquid filter, added some more lights pixel by pixel ( with the brush ) on body and face , blurred a few hard shadows. Adjusted bright and contrast. Changed the blue of the water in front into a more intense color ( by adding cyan ) and left the rest as it was from the shot.
