I'm Male.
Hi! Briefly: You are invited to attend the first second life exhibition for don hosho.. showing his digital painting portraits! Time: Friday 15th Aug 2008 | 2:00 p.m. SLT. Details: A noob was standing in a life concert at the cafe, back in October, 2006. And while he was caming .. he liked some scene, and no one has imagined this noob is a real life illustrator. No one imagined too that his real life is full of drawing sketches in place.. and paint them later. As any life painter, he was refusing to paint out of nature.. even when he had clients in real life asking him to paint them, he never accepted photos ... but at that day.. he felt he has to paint what he sees.. Yes, it is a virtual world, not a real world, but .. there is something natural behind all these pixlated masks, and dolls.. A crazy idea came to my mind, the concept of the pixlated painter that paints pixlated subjects and people, by his real life hand using pixlated mediums.. and to be the first classic painter in second life .. as my first digital painting is dated back to 30 oct. 2006! and it is in the exhibition .. and it was for a beatiful lady standing in the cafe, listening to the life music there.. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Traditional painting is painting with a physical medium as opposed to a more modern style like digital. More: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_painting I have lived the life of Edgar Degas for about 2 years, painting portraits and making money through painting portraits.. a life i wished to live.. I called it " SL painting " and I decided these days to make an exhibition of paintings I have commissioned or sold in world.. to share my second life experience with other second life users. Thank you, Don Hosho How to go there?: SLURL: Vista Hermosa Art Center VHAC, Little Andalucia (210, 146, 47). Or contact " Landor DeCuir " in world / or open " Landor DeCuir " profile and You will find the Gallery in his picks! People: Ahmad Hosho: The Artist Landor DeCuir : The gallery owner. Shelby Ziskey: Assistant Sidda Leigh: Host, organizer assistant. HeftyHoney Mighty: Opening Party Organazier. ––– This is a broadcast message.

Ji_Dallagio and Antonella launched a project; it is called: Pileup! Antonella posted a raw untouched screenshot: http://www.koinup.com/antonella/work/53531/ Every Koinup Member is invited to edit, postprocess, change it and explain what he/she has done to get to his/her image You can save the Antonella Image on your Pc and start your experiments! When you have created your own version, please upload on Koinup and add the tag: pileup All Pictures will be available here: http://www.koinup.com/works/tag/pileup/ The goal is to discuss together about our style, approachs and have fun in a collaborative project! (This game is not restricted to Second Life, I would love to see participants from different worlds, gilds, games and style) ––– This is a broadcast message.
Pan, Trixi and other cool guys have launched a new Community Project..... I don't know how to call it.....lets try with: "One Place, Many Eyes"...... Anyway, this is the project: One member take a photo in a place and other people follow, taking other pics of the same subject...... Pan has just started with this splendid photo settled in the JadeForest http://www.koinup.com/PANTELEIMON-AEON/work/53258/ This is the slurl, TP there, take a lot of snaps: slurl.com/secondlife/Straylight/186/53/25 And post your takes on Koinup Remember to add the tag: jadeforest so that each takes on it, will be visible here: http://www.koinup.com/works/tag/jadeforest/ (if you want get constructive comments on the work, add the tag: review and enter the Mentor Project ) ––– This is a broadcast message.
Just I wanna give my support to one idea of Pan! The idea is this: Each participant take a photo of the same subject. Eachone tag the photo in the same manner and then, we all discuss together about our attempts, showing different styles, approach, etc..... I choose the main landscape of Africa: http://www.koinup.com/pier/work/52573/ Its a great sim and if you want you can go on with this subject and do your take with it! please, add the tag : virtualafrica to your attempt moreover, if you want to receive constructive comments from mentor, remember to add also the tag: review lets go, tp in Africa! ps: This game is for SL people, but I invite my friends from other virtual worlds to make similar games on their own ––– This is a broadcast message.
Oops :)) Would this meeting be another... creation ? (sorry to my bad english)
Dear friends The awesome Trixibelle had a great idea .... It is called “Mentors Project” and it works this way: Are you a beginner in photography or machinima? Are you making art experiments and would you love to receive constructive comments from the most skilled Koinup members? Great! This project is for you! Add the tag: review to all your works you wanna be reviewed from the pool of mentors and they will review and make a deep analysis of them! Is there a better way to improve and become an artist? Right now, the group of mentors is made up by: Ji Dallagio, Rhondita, Bbea, Zeppy, Don Hosho, MightyP, Angel-Ronmark and Eves (soon, you will see the mentors here: http://www.koinup.com/people/?q=mentor ) If you wanna be a mentor, please add the tag: mentor to your profile and add other tags for the fields you are an expert (photoshop, windlight, machinima, second life, imvu, etc) If you wanna a constructive comment, tag your work with: review Mentors will periodically browse all the works, tagged with: review here: http://www.koinup.com/works/tag/review/ once the constructive comment has been posted, mentor can add the tag: tutorial on that work Please, spread out this message and broadcast it, too yourself! ––– This is a broadcast message.
