Orange Photo Contest Entry
As a little girl I had a thing about trees! If I needed to think or be alone or if I was upset I would go and sit under my special tree. No matter what the season was I would always go! I think I supplied it's life's worth of water with all the tears I shed there! For me this picture made me think back to those times spent there, of the isolation, of the times I needed to be alone and to think and of the peace and serenity it gave me. The bird is symbolic of my worries and thoughts being set free :)
For the editing I used the dodge tool to lighten the areas that I wanted to look softer and give a 'mist' effect. I used a brush for the bird then I used a filter over the entire picture to give it that 'dreamy' look.
