Empty chairs waiting..will the sun rounding the corner bring him to her? Will she arrive first? But still the chairs wait..
Flowers bending towards the sun. Soon? They yearn for the touch of her hand..the nearness of her face as she bends to sniff their fragance. They wait..

Perhaps he'll bring his friends and they will gather as four to laugh and share stories. Will they come soon? How long must we wait?

Shades of evening pass over us. Flowers drooping now, it seems we are forgotten. Perhaps they went dancing or perhaps they are walking hand in hand on the beach? Still we wait...

She sighs.
He didn't come. She waited for hours and still he didn't come.
"How depressing is the sunset?" she asked herself. 'It needs to be shared to be appreciated!"
One last look and then she leaves.
At the end of the day....at the end of the beach...they wait....
